About Us

Head teacher – Mrs Sara (Adams)

I was born here in Bermuda and graduated from Bermuda High School. I knew in my teenage years that I wanted to work with children and after researching college options, I decided on The Norland College, in Berkshire, UK. Norland is an extremely prestigious college that offers an amazing training both in the classroom and practical.

My Norland Diploma has opened many doors for me and has allowed me to travel the world. After graduating with a distinction in 1995 I worked as a private nanny for several families. It was while I was working as a nanny for Prince Bandar bin Sultan Al Saud of Saudi Arabia, I met my husband Paul. After being married for 6 years, Paul and I welcomed our twin boys, William and Callum in Dec 2007.

I stayed at home with my boys until they were two at which time I decided it was time to go back to work. I was lucky enough to be offered a job at Bloomfield Nursery School. I worked in the two-year-old class at Bloomfield for four years and enjoyed it so much. It was during my wonderful time at Bloomfield that I realized how much I would love to do a small playgroup of my own. We bought a home in May 2013, and I started to see the possibility become a reality. With my boys at primary school, it seemed the perfect time to make the big step.

Assistant teacher – Mrs Helen (Jones)

I was born and grew up in a very loving home in Cheshire England. Being the eldest grandchild I loved spending time and caring for my younger sister and cousins. So a career working with children was something I always wanted to do. After finishing high school I enrolled on a two year full time course at South Cheshire College. There I completed the National Association of Maternal and Child Welfare course gaining a diploma. When I finished college I worked in England as a nanny and a classroom assistant for 5 years. In 1993 I decided to look for work outside of the UK and found a position here in Bermuda. I met my husband shortly after arriving and decided to make Bermuda my home. Over the past 30 years I feel extremely lucky and blessed to have had the opportunity to work with some wonderful families either as a nanny or nursery teacher.
