About Little Loquats:
We believe that providing a loving, safe and educationally enriching environment is essential to the early development of your children. Having children of my own I know how precious your child is to you and how important it is to know they are being protected and affectionately cared for while you are away.
At Little Loquats your child will grow and discover their potential through fun learning experiences. Little Loquats is located on a very quiet drive on Middle Road, Smiths, just minutes away from Somersfield School and Saltus Cavendish. The playroom is warm and inviting. There is a fenced in garden area as well as a foam mat surfaced courtyard. It is all well shaded and we do try and spend as much time as possible outside.
Morning Playgroup
Little Loquats is a morning-only program that runs on the private school calendar.
Depending on the age or your child, they can attend either a 2 or 3 day week.
Opening hours are 8:30 am until 12:30 pm I will provide a healthy mid-morning snack, and e children are required to bring their own lunch.
Playgroup Routine
- 8:30 Arrive freeplay (Play-Doh, puzzles, etc)
- 9:30 Snack time
- 9:45 Art time (planned craft activity)
- 10:00 Outside play (outdoor sensory activities, bikes, play equipment, nature walks around the property)
- 11:15 Circle time
- 11:30 Lunch
- 12:30 Pickup time
Holiday Camps:
School holiday camps will be offered during some school holidays dependent on demand for past Loquats. Camp will consist of the same routine as our daily program. There may be a camp offered for part of the summer holiday. However, there will not be a camp during the Christmas break.
Babysitting
Mrs. Sara is available for evening and weekend babysitting upon request. Details for other trustworthy and reliable contacts are also available.
